My mom, Sherry, was my rock, the person who raised me to be the woman I am today. I tragically lost my mom, my best friend and my whole world, the morning of October 7, 2024. Sherry was the type of person who would help anyone and become either a mom to them or “Aunt Sher”. She was, and will forever be, known as a strong, courageous woman who never took
“No!” for an answer.
After my mom and I became survivors of domestic violence, we were finally able to start a new chapter of our lives. Little did we know once we started to live a free time we would be hit with new battles. The battle of Heart Failure in August 2024 and Severe Emphysema in September 2024. These diagnoses came as a surprise to us both and she started treatment immediately.
I have always been my mom's caregiver, over the years the amount of help my mom needed increased significantly. After receiving these diagnoses, I stepped away from my career for a little; thanks to the support of my amazing salon. Since the death of my mother was very sudden and unexpected. This has left me alone to handle the cost of everything pertaining to her passing. This includes her cremation, a celebration of life, the cost of legal fees with the handling of her estate, paying for her medical bills from the past months, and more.
I am normally not the person to ask for help, just like my mom. Every little bit would be greatly appreciated, but please do not feel obligated to donate.
Thank you so much for taking the time even just to read this.
