My mother passed away two days ago and her life insurance policy will not pay out due to the policy not having been active for more than two years. 

The cremation costs are too much for my family with such short notice (nobody really plans for these things) and we would appreciate any help at all to make sure my mother's end of life arrangements are taken care of. I hate to even make one of these but it seems we hit one snag in the road after another and here we are. Thank you to everyone who has offered condolences and reached out. My brother and I can’t thank you enough.
