Hey everyone, I have been silent for almost two years. My housing situation has been unstable. While I have been getting my master's, getting a 4.0 with a broken laptop that barely works, I have needed a laptop for a while but I try to make it work. It just isn’t working. With my current research I do outside of my master's program, it’s hard to even get things done. I will be publishing my two-part study for Missing and Murdered Indigenous Women, Girls, and Two-Spirit relatives and I really need a working computer. On top of that, in June, Angie and I will be moving and I need help with moving costs. Anything helps and I’m not sure how much to raise. But I don’t want to be unhoused. I have also been looking for work for two years straight and haven’t gotten a job. It’s so frustrating and I hope it changes and I get something soon. We need help from the community. Making $630 a month hardly covers the bills and basic needs. I have stayed silent about this except to a few people. I have decided to share because June is coming soon, security deposits, plus first and last months (in my case since that usually happens when I rent an apartment), I really do need help.
