My name is Kristen and my husband's name is Sean. We have 3 small children ages 5, 2, and 8 months. We tested positive for covid a few weeks ago so I had taken Sean to the emergency room with what we thought were just complications of the virus. Once evaluated they realized there was something much bigger going on. They found a mass the size of an orange on the front right lobal of his brain. They also found 3 smaller ones around it. They are confident that this is glioblastoma which is one of the most aggressive brain cancers and noncurable. He is supposed to have surgery Wednesday 16th. Because of the placement and risks involved, he may need weeks of rehab after surgery and will also be doing radiation and chemo 5 days a week for 6 weeks. Because of this, he is no longer able to work and I stay home to care for our small children and now caring for him as well. We are still praying for a miracle that when they do the surgery it will not be what they all think it is. Prayers and anything else are so appreciated. He is absolutely the best dad, husband, son, and friend. To know him is to love him.
