Help with Scott's eye surgery

Hi,

My name is Cheryl and my husband Scott is legally blind due to severe cataracts. His left eye can be (and will be) corrected with surgery and a regular lens on November 3rd. On November 23rd, he is scheduled for the right eye. However, they are saying they cannot get him clear vision with a regular lens; he needs what is called a "Toric" lens.

The cost of the surgery is being covered 100%, EXCEPT for the Toric lens, which is an additional $2,400.

We have struggled for two years now, thru Covid; his vision loss, my job loss are among just a few challenges we have faced. His vision loss has been very difficult for him and he is so excited about this surgery to get his vision returned. He is already trying to decide how to re-enter the workforce after being out for a few years now.

I would love nothing more than to be able to raise enough money so that we can get him the toric lens so he can have a clear vision and not blurry vision.
