Help with Saving George’s Knee and Leg

I am Carla Coggins Loucks (62), a retired teacher, and my husband George Loucks(69) is needing immediate financial care and surgery. We are in Fort Worth, TX. His left knee has decayed to the point he cannot walk -the bones are grinding - there is no cartilage. When he was working, he had a vascular knee procedure in 2020 to attempt more blood flow to the knee. The procedure was partially successful. In 2021 he had a knee procedure that removed the meniscus and rot. The procedure was not successful. He tried so hard to work at his job of 14 years at Kroger’s. The last two months his condition has become severely critical. Kroger’s sent him paper work called FMLA. I have filed that. George was born and raised in Jonesboro, AR. He graduated from high school and Arkansas State University in Jonesboro. He served in the We don’t have any savings of any kind. We are failing to thrive. I get $2414 per month retirement, and he gets $1100 per month SS. I have an 15 hour per week job paying $10 per hour. Right now we have some insurance through his job, but it will not last.. He does have Medicare (Part A and B.) Since he cannot work, he have nothing. Our monthly utilities: Electric - $154, Water $85 (we do not water the lawn, ) Phone service $100 and we do not have television anymore. We have a car payment of $289. Our house payment is $900 per month. We owe $46, 843. When he worked, he earned $1,800 per month - now nothing.
