Help With Sarahs Endometriosis Surgery Cost

Hi, my name is Sarah, and I’m 20 years old. I’ve been living with the pain of endometriosis since I was just 12. Over the past eight years, my condition has steadily worsened — and now, it’s become unbearable. At the age of 20, my symptoms became so severe that I had to undergo two laparoscopic surgeries just two months apart. Unfortunately, my endometriosis grows back within a month or two, and standard laparoscopic procedures are no longer effective.

My right ovary has now grown to twice its normal size and is sticking to my surrounding organs. My left ovary is affected by a rare condition called Allen-Masters syndrome, pulling it toward my left hip wall. On top of that, I’ve been diagnosed with adenomyosis, and a large part of my uterus needs to be removed. I’m in constant, debilitating pain — I can’t walk for more than 15 minutes, I often pass out from the intensity of it, and I’ve lost weight because it’s so hard to eat.

There are only about 10 surgeons in the entire world who specialize in the advanced care I need. I’ve finally found one who is nearly certain he can help me — but the surgery I need is highly specialized, robotic laparoscopic surgery, and it's expensive.
