First I want to thank you for opening the link and showing interest in heliping Aunty Ruth in her time of need.

As most of you must have heard my Aunt, Ruth is in critical condition back home in lagos and has been undergoing dialysis treatments for several months now. Unfortunately the treatments are no longer effective and her kidneys have deteriorated so badly and the only way out now is for her to undergo a kidney transplant.

The total bill received from the hospital is N15m (approximately $22,000 using the current FX rates). We setup this gofundme account so that friends leaving outside Nigeria and are willing, can help us raise the money we need towards her surgery.
