Help with Rosie’s Vet costs

Hi, as some of you may or may not know I have a cat named Rosie. She is 5.5 years old and I got her in January of 2024. She is such a silly girl. Sweet as can be and such a light in my life. I would do absolutely anything for her.

Recently she has stopped eating and hasn’t been herself. I took her to the vet and they took a look at her and noticed that her blood cell count was low and her liver and kidney enzymes were off. She became jaundice and has just took a 180 in behavior. She definitely is no longer acting like herself. We’ve been to the vet 4 times now and have another visit scheduled for 10/16. So far they’ve given me 5 different medications and an IV bag to give to her every day. So far I’ve spent $1,000. Since she is still not eating, the vet and I are considering getting her a feeding tube. This is costing me A LOT of money, and my funds are quickly depleting.

I know in this time and economy money is tight for a lot of people. I would know, as a graduate student, trust me I know. This is why I am taking to gofundme as it is my last resort. I absolutely hate asking people for money but I am at a loss for what to do at this point. I do work while in graduate school but it is simply not enough to keep up with my cost of daily living as well as taking care of the vet bills.

If you or anyone you know could help me save and make my very sick girl feel better, I would GREATLY appreciate anything and everything, even if it’s just a dollar. Rosie means the world to me and like I said I would do anything for her. I have been an absolute mess this week trying to get her to feel better. Anything helps.
