Hey!

As you may know, my dogs are like children to me - they're my whole life.

If you've not met Rose, you're missing out! She's uniquely insane, scared of everything from bikes to bus sheds and will insist on winching anyone who comes close enough.

In the past year, as they're getting older, the vet visits have been pretty frequent. They've always been super healthy and, till recently, I was under the impression that I was at the top tier for insurance with the best payout. Turns out that wasn't the case (imagine an insurance company screwing you over. Shocker.) and the payout is between £500 and £700, which if you know vet costs, doesn't scratch the surface. I am still scraping back the cost of 2 surgeries for Boo and have now been hit with the news that Rose has cancer.

She needs x-rays and surgiers which, at the moment, I can't cover. Of course I know that this is what happens as they get older, which I was prepared for, but I wasn't prepared to be screwed by insurance. As a last resort I've started up this GoFundMe. Fairly embarrassed that I have to do it, but Rose's wellbeing is absolutely worth it.

Some generosity would be immeasurably appreciated, and give the breathing space needed to build up the funds after being battered by vet bills this year.

I am absolutely not here to line my own pockets, I will still be paying out what I can and anything left over from donations will be going straight to a dog chairty.
