Help with Rooney's Medical Expenses

We adopted Rooney a little over 6 years ago from Front Street Animal Shelter when she was about 4 months old. Rooney has been with us through all of our moves and big life changes. She is our baby girl. If you know Daniel and me, no doubt you know how obsessed we are with Rooney and Earl. You probably also know that these two dogs have had their share of vet trips and hospital stays. Rooney had surgery at the end of October to repair a torn ACL. It was expensive, but we were fortunate enough to have the savings to cover it. Rooney recovered well and for the past couple months things seemed to be good.
This past Friday morning, Rooney threw up all of her dinner from the night before. She wasn't interested in food (which is very strange because Rooney is very food motivated), but we finally got her to eat that night. Saturday morning she threw up all of her dinner and started refusing food again. I called our vet and they got her in and did an exam and blood work, but everything came back "normal" so they sent her home with anti-nausea medicine and told us to wait and see. We tried every type of food to try and entice her, but she refused to eat all of Sunday. On Monday morning, I called around trying to get her an appointment and finally found and emergency vet hospital that would take her. I dropped her off Monday morning for an exam and ultrasound to see if there was  blockage in her stomach. They found her stomach to be enlarged, full of liquid, gas, and grasslike material. So they started treatment to try and empty her stomach, but kept regurgitating liquid and has been unable to keep anything down. She stayed overnight and has been monitored and had an IV to keep her from getting dehydrated.
As of this afternoon, they are still not sure what is causing her issues and ordered an x-ray of her abdomen and chest. We have narrowed it down to two possible causes: a blockage in her stomach or intestines, or a neurological issue causing her esophagus to not perform properly. She will potentially need surgery, but definitely needs to stay at the hospital.
So far her exams, tests, x-ray, ultrasound, treatment, and hospital stay have cost us $3000, and we are no closer to bringing our big lady home. We have been able to cover the expense so far, but they are estimating another $3000-$4000 for surgery/recovery or extended hospital stay and testing. Rooney is our big baby, and we have to pursue every avenue that could save her. That's where we need help. We are coming to the point where our savings are running low and would really appreciate anything anyone is able to contribute. We understand that times have been tough for everyone and money is tight. There's definitely more "serious" or "worthy" causes to donate to. But this is big for us. This is our family and we can't give up until we tried everything possible to make Rooney better and bring her home. If Rooney has given you kisses, or made you smile, please send love and healing vibes her way. We appreciate all of the support, however you can give it. Thank you for taking the time to read this and thank you for anything you are able to give.
