In March, our beloved Riley suffered a medical crisis and was hospitalized for severe pancreatitis. After two days of diagnostics and around-the-clock care, he pulled through and we were hopeful for more time with him. On Monday, May 4th, Riley began showing the same alarming symptoms and was rushed back to the emergency vet hospital. After bloodwork, an abdominal ultrasound, and two more days of intensive care, he was diagnosed with cholangiohepatitis along with pancreatitis. Despite the vets doing everything they could, Riley’s condition continued to worsen. With a fever of 105.7 and a heart rate of 205, he was at risk of seizures or heart failure, and we had to make the most heartbreaking decision to let him go peacefully.
Riley was my heart dog, and losing him so suddenly while facing overwhelming emergency vet bills and cremation costs has been devastating. We did everything possible to save him, and I am humbly asking for help covering these unexpected costs during this incredibly painful time. Any support, donation, or share means more than words can express.
