Hi everyone, I've started this fundraiser for help to recover vet funds and medication I inadvertently paid for a sick stray kitten that I was only meant to foster overnight but kept longer than intended. I had agreed to care for the kitten temporarily and only paid the fees in order for treatment to commence without delay whilst a foster was being organized to care for him longer term.

During the time I cared for him, he was treated for cat flu, an eye infection, flea and worm treatments.

Consequently, one of my other rescue cats had to be taken to the vet after catching cat flu from the stray kitten. He began vomiting and drooling, was having breathing problems and was very lethargic and unable to eat or drink. He developed sores inside his mouth and redness along his gums. He was diagnosed with cat flu and stomatitis and was given antibiotics as treatment.
