Help with Repairs to Ms. Doris' Home for her Kids

On Friday, July 16 we bid a deeply fond farewell to our very own wonderful Ms. Doris Pierce at her celebration of life service. No one whose family was a part of Early Literacy Academy was immune from Ms. Doris' vibrant touch. As her spirit was warm and full of life, her loss is filled with immeasurable grief for all who loved her. This is the time to rally around her loved ones and help her three young children and her mom, Ms. Deb, and do what we can to ensure her love and legacy carries forward. In an effort to show up for them as their extended village, we have set up this fundraiser to help support much-needed essential repairs to Ms. Doris' home so that her children may continue to live there safely and comfortably and remember fondly the time they shared with their beloved mother.

The work is being performed at-cost via the generosity of a contractor team and will include repairs to the kitchen, plumbing work as well as some repair to the roof and new flooring for the first floor.
