Hi. my name is Linda, Beth is my roommate and she was brutally assaulted 2 days ago when she was walking to her car to go to work on Cedar and 25th street. I take the same route as her and I’ve been working late nights and coming home around the same time that she leaves for work because I’m working double of the what I used to, to try to catch up with my monthly expenses. I’m a single mother of 2 as well which is why I began to rent the room out to Beth. I’m trying to avoid any further action towards being evicted and getting my car repossessed since I’m a couple months behind. My car is my livelihood as I am a Lyft driver. If I lose my car, I lose everything I’ve worked so hard to attain for my children and I, which is not much but I minimally have what I need. Anything helps. Thank you so much
