In danger of eviction, need help with rent

Hi, I'm Cara. I'm in a difficult situation with needing to pay back rent by the end of this month to not be evicted from my apartment, so I'm reaching out to see if anyone can help.

My hours at work were reduced last month at the same time that my rent was raised, and that has put me in a really bad place while I've been looking for other work. I've been reaching out to organizations for assistance, but so far, they either don't help with rent or I don't qualify. I'm waiting to hear back from one but may run out of time or only be able to get a very small amount. If I'm evicted, I don't know how I'll be able to find other housing. I won't be able to apply alone, especially in my current situation, and I don't have another place to go. I also have my dog, Naomi, who is a senior now, and can't always get around as easily.

I will be trying to make what money I can through gig work when I'm not at my job, but it can be so variable that I don't know how much I'll get from it.

I hate to ask for money like this because I always feel like we all have our own struggles going on and I don't like feeling like I'm taking from others, but I don't know what else to do.

Any help, no matter the amount, will be so so appreciated. If you feel like sharing this, as well, I would be very grateful.
