Hi there, my name is Jill Semancik. I am reaching out in regards to my niece, Shena Novotny.

She is truly, one amazing, giving, kind individual, and I am proud to call her my niece and friend.

She has given years of her life, and time , whether it was being a Manager at a Animal rescue society or rescuing and rehabilitating dogs, cats, well any type of animal on her own. She has a heart of gold.

Her tireless efforts to rescue, re-home, seek out medical care, for her or rescued animals, knows no bounds.

Unfortunately after 10 years, she has to vacate her home due to the landlord moving back in. She has been a responsible Tenant all these years.

Finding a new place has been challenging, especially with her growing fur family.

If we can help her cover the rent, even just for a little while, it would mean the world to her and the animals she cares for and or help secure a home. As she has to vacate effective November 30th, 2025 .

Shena is hardworking and has started her own dog walking business, focusing on dogs with special needs, reactive & dog boarding. She truly is a hero in our community.
