Help with rehabilitation after surviving sepsis

Hi, my name is Kerrie and in May this year I discovered I had sepsis caused by infective endocarditis.

My chances of survival were slim due to me having congenital heart disease but some how I got though several heart surgeries and being in a medically induced coma for 20 days.

I’m unable to work at the moment and struggling to get the help I need to recover. Unfortunately I’ve been left with a foot drop after one of the surgical procedures and I am unable to walk normally. I’m also experiencing ongoing chest pain due to the many open heart procedures.

I would like to seek private medical help to aid in my rehabilitation. I am mummy to a 4 year son and it’s my dream to be able to do the ‘normal’ things we all take for granted like walk him to school, run around in a park or go swimming.
