Hello everyone ! As most of you now I've been in a rehabilitation center for the past 3 weeks recovering from an unexpected surgery (fusion of C3-5), and a ruptured disk in my lumbar.
My progress has been amazing, not just physically, but Ive also been gifted the ability to strengthen myself in ways that I wasnt even aware of. I am in the process of relearning the use of some motor skills both in my hands and legs, and doing so in a way that Ive never done before. Its turning into being extraordinary journey with no presence in my life for the negative coping skills I natuarally gravitate to. In short, all sense of fear has been lifted, Im in a good place, and for that im grateful.
The overwhelming response from you guys has fueled my focus a has been such such a key drive for me to make and accept nothing less than a full recovery makeover overall; mind, body, and soul. I know that Im eaxtly where I need to be, doing exactly what my plan of recovery taught me to do in situations like this. Drop the ego, turn it over, ask for help, and take suggestive direction. Im well aware of the importance of keeping myself spiritual fit in order to heal myself physically.
That being said, the area that I am having the trouble with is that my financial situation is getting away from me. At the beginning of the year I did enrolled in the Medicare program, which has been a blessing to help pay gor this Rehabilitation home where Im currently residing. Its the co-pays which have been accumylating fast. This, along with my personal finances and the inability to work has thrown me completely off and catipulted me into a uncertain state of finational insecurity. Medical hads agreed to cover some but unfortunately not as much as I was hoping for.
I'm not worried that this will be taken care of one way or another , I've made the desion to step way outside comfort zone and ask those who are able, for assistance to get a grip on this in order to avoid this distraction. I will be taking a break from social media (sensing sighs of relief), in order to focus all my energy scqon coming back bigger, better, and stronger!
Thank you guys,
David
