Hi!

I'm Jude, a trans woman from Yorkshire, who needs financial aid during my recovery and healing from Gender Affirming Surgery in the end of 2025. I was first referred to the NHS gender services in 2017, so it's been a long time coming!

Previously I have Crowdfunded for costs towards a diagnosis in 2020, prescriptions and other medical costs. This new fundraiser is specifically for my recovery, I am a freelancer from a working class background and from September a part-time student, as you might imagine my income falls short of the expected costs associated with recovering from surgery.

I have my surgery consultation at the end of July and expect to be under the knife before Christmas. I will be spending a week in hospital, another week in bed then another 4-6 weeks healing until I can go about a relatively normal life again.
