I recently found out I was pregnant, and not long after, I began experiencing severe symptoms that made it difficult to work. After missing several days, I was sent to the hospital by ambulance while with a client. At the hospital, I learned that my pregnancy was an interstitial ectopic, which meant I was at imminent risk of rupture and potential death if left untreated. I have been in the hospital for almost a week now, receiving treatment and undergoing testing. Between my hospital stay and the days of work I missed prior, I am facing a financial gap that will make it impossible to cover my upcoming rent and bills.

My recovery will require me to miss even more work, and I will need to travel back and forth to Women & Infants Hospital in Rhode Island for ongoing care. The funds raised will go directly toward rent, utilities, and gas for transportation to medical appointments. This support will help me focus on healing and ensure I have a safe place to recover.
