Help Raul's dad cover his medical expenses

As some of you might know, Raul's father sustained a major accident while biking in Miami. He is currently undergoing multiple brain surgeries, and he is expected to sustain a long recovery and therapy.
Although he had travel insurance, the hospital bills quickly maxed out the coverage. Raul and his family were left with the only option of paying out-of-pocket $30,000 and transport him back to Colombia with a private air ambulance. He is currently in a hospital in Bogota', where he is receiving other costly treatments. The family is now under a lot of stress and continuous emotional rollercoasters. These difficulties have been compounded by COVID, which made it even more challenging to care for their beloved husband and dad.
Like many of you friends of Raul and Maria Cristina, we have wondered how best to support Raul and his family navigate this difficult time. With this spirit, we are asking you to join us in raising some money to help the Velasquez family offset some of the costs. We trust this gesture will provide some financial relief and show Raul that we are close to him and his family in this challenging period.
