Danielle McKim - Help Rare Flesh-Eating Disease
Donation protected
Dear friends, family and community members, and colleagues:
I am reaching out to you today with a plea for help. On July 17th I went to the ER in Waimea - was diagnosed with a rare flesh eating disease and had emergency surgery to remove the dead flesh and pus that encompassed most of my left buttock and all of my right buttock. I was flown to Queen’s Medical Center and have had 8 more surgeries since then. As of August 8th- I am still at Queen’s healing the 5” deep wound and making progress on healing.
According to my surgeon, this disease is very rare and I’m very lucky to be alive today. I look forward to working hard to get back into work and living a long life filled with love and compassion.
I need your help today to pay my medical bills, rehab, changing the wound dressing by a specialist and daily and monthly living expenses.
I am happy to answer any questions you may have. If you're unable to donate, please share this GoFundMe with your friends and family. Every little bit helps!
Thank you for taking the time to read this GFM. I appreciate your love and support.
Mahalo,
