Help with purchasing a stairlift

Donation protected
In February 2020, at age 55, with no warning and in seemingly good health, I was diagnosed with a brain tumor, which has affected my right side and especially my ability to walk. I have been undergoing treatment, which has included radiation and chemotherapy. For the past few months, I have been living in my bedroom, unable to get up and down the stairs in our two-story home. We have investigated the cost of a stairlift, which based on our steps is estimated to cost about $5,000 for two straight models that will still require a solution to ascend the first few stairs to the first landing, or about $13,000 for a curved model that will fully get me up and down the steps without any transfers or steps on my own.  This is much more than we can afford on a reduced disability income, but it would improve my quality of life and would be meaningful to be able to join my family for meals and other social interactions, and would allow me to get outside for fresh air this fall. I am not usually one to ask for help but I would be truly appreciative of any donations that would make my home more accessible.
