Help with Pluto's leg amputation

Hi, my name is Olivia.

I am creating this gofundme as a last resort option for my 1-year-old cat named Pluto. Last night I came home from work to find Pluto had suffered some sort of injury to his back leg. After having 2 X-rays today, it has been discovered that Pluto has broken the head of his back left femur in the hip socket and the only remedy is for surgery to remove the broken femur and leave him with a poorly functioning leg or to have his leg removed completely. This for me, leaves a huge financial burden, as I am sure that it would for many. I am not one to ask for this kind of help, but I really do not want to say goodbye to my sweet boy, which is the only other option for me, unfortunately. I understand that this time of year is trying for many, so even if you can just share this with your friends and family, I would be so grateful. The total for the surgery is $2,547.98, any additional donations that are left over would be happily donated to the Thunder Bay Humane Society.
