Please Help Us with Pearl's ICU Bills

It is with a heavy and scared heart that I am doing this. Our puppy dog, Pearl, is very sick. Although she is an older Great Dane, she still acts like a puppy, running and jumping, playing with her toys and "communicating" loudly with those daring to walking past on "her" sidewalk. She didn't let us know she wasn't feeling well until the wee hours on Sunday morning when she wasn't breathing normally and developed a cough. By 6:00am Sunday, it was obvious that she was not well. We rushed her to the local emergency vet where we discovered that she has aspirated pneumonia. The doctor recommended we transfer Pearl to UC Davis where they have better equipment to administer oxygen to the great breed dogs. So, we took Pearl to UC Davis where she was admitted to their ICU. There, they discovered that Pearl has bronchial pneumonia in both lungs and her white blood count was extremely low. The infection was so bad and fast moving that she was already becoming septic. They immediately gave her antibiotics, IV fluids and hooked her up to oxygen. We had to leave her there, knowing she was getting the best possible care.
Today, she is still struggling to maintain her blood pressure, she is still on high flow oxygen and two types of broad spectrum antibiotics to kill the infection and clear the sepsis. She got a little better over night and they took her off the medication that helps her blood pressure, but then she took a down turn so they put her back on it.
They are telling us that a few days in the ICU, with this 1 to 1 medical attention has a good chance of bringing her out of it. That, dear friends, is why I am coming to you. The estimated cost we are looking at right now for this medical intervention is $12,000. As many of you know, I lost my job last year and I have not been able to find a steady income stream since. We have already dipped into our savings to pay our regular monthly bills so this is a hit I don't know how we will handle. I am asking for help from anyone and everyone. Please share this with anyone you think may be sympathetic to our puppy and our needs.
We are willing to do anything we have to so we can bring our puppy home.
