Help With Paul Anka's Surgeries

Hello! My name is Dante and my wonderful dog's name is Paul Anka. He is about to turn 14 years old and is a Lhasa Apso. He is my best friend. We have grown up together, he moved into my first apartment with me, and we have seen each other through our ups and downs. He loves to sleep, chase his yellow ball, play in the snow, and belly rubs! He's a shy boy that doesn't like people to watch him while he eats. His favorite treats are Greenies! Paul Anka has always had such a personality, which is why we gave him such a unique name!

Paul Anka requires two surgeries. The first and most important is a dental surgery estimated at $2,300, not including follow-up visits, recovery medication, etc. Paul Anka has begun to lose his teeth and is at risk of bacteria entering his bloodstream. My vet has informed me that this can cause organ diseases and/or a shorter lifespan. Paul Anka has already lost two of his teeth and has always had dental problems, which runs in his breed. The second is an eye mass removal surgery for an eye mass that has been growing larger over the past couple of years. It has grown to the point of discomfort and is a risk of blindness for him. This picture was taken over a year ago; the eye mass is even bigger now. Both of these surgeries are rather time-sensitive; I am trying to schedule him within the next month for both of them.

We all know vet fees are not cheap, and I am kindly asking if anyone has anything to spare to help me pay for even just the first surgery Paul Anka needs. It would mean so much to me and a little really does go a long way! I work two jobs in the restaurant industry and am hoping for any kind of help with these vet costs. Paul Anka is my family! I want to keep him healthy and happy for as long as possible. He is my whole world and I always look forward to seeing him when I come home. I love taking him to the park and watching him run and leap! Even though he is about to turn 14, Paul Anka still has so much spirit and energy left in him.
