On Monday, August 28, 2023, our beloved Papá Jesus “Chuy” Su passed away after an unexpected medical emergency that left him on life support for a week. His children made the difficult decision to end life support given the severity of his condition.

Papá Chuy’s surviving family could use your help towards his funeral costs, which are approximately $15,000, as well as a family care fund of $5000 to support his wife and son who depended on him until they are able to find longer term resources. Papá Chuy leaves behind his wife who has dementia and an adult son with schizophrenia, both of whom lived with him, and will need to find alternative support systems in his absence. This family fund will provide essential needs for them in the meantime.
