Help with (our pup) Quavo's medical bills

Hi, My name is Kim and I'm Quavo's person (Mom). About 5 years ago this little guy came into our lives, even though we weren't prepared for a 2nd pet. He needed a loving home, and people who cared. He had been abandoned. We took a leap of faith, making Quavo a member of the Smith family, and he quickly became our fur son.

He's a very loving, loyal, and protective dog (Chihuahua mix that looks sort of like a Chiweenie), whose eyes could charm anyone's heart. He loves playing with his fur sister Amber, taking us for walks, and cuddling against Dad's hip in bed at night. He's funny, high-energy, and loves a bit of whipped cream on occasion.

Last Sunday, Quavo became very ill. He threw up so much we thought our Lab had done it. He wouldn't eat or drink water, became lethargic, and couldn't pee or poop.

After seeing the veterinarian, we learned that our Quavo (Bubba Doo) had many gall stones that had become packed in his urethra and needed surgery immediately. Prior to Sunday, he showed no signs of being sick or in pain.

His surgery and after care have wiped us out financially, but we would do it all over again because we love him so much and the very thought of losing him breaks our hearts. We've cried a lot this week.

We aren't looking to profit from this. We just want to pay off the medical debt in case he needs future veterinary care. The hardest thing for us, when filling out the paperwork, was seeing "In case of medical emergency, do you want your pet to be given CPR?" and knowing saving his life comes at such a high price. My husband is retired and I work at an Elementary School as an Instructional Assistant for Special Education.

Any help would be greatly appreciated. Quavo is worth every effort, and he means the world to us.
