We have set up this page in honor of Maria Enriquez, our amazing strong and reselient mother. We want to give her the memorial she deserves to honor her memory and say our last goodbyes. She was a dedicated mother, wife, grandmother and friend. Our mother was always optimistic, regardless of how tough life would get- she always found a way.
During her fight with cancer and the aggressive radiation treatment, she always faced every obstacle with a bold and fearless attitude, taking a brave and humorous approach through the entire journey. Before her illness, she was a lively person who loved cooking, listening to music and dancing. She also had a passion for traveling, even though she was scared to fly--she would happily take the bus anywhere she could. Being an old-school traditional women, she ensured that her two sons grew up knowing proper manners and basic life skills. She taught us how to be independent, responsible men. She ruled with an iron fist, but always made sure to show us her unconditional love. 
Our mother was a fighter and an independent woman with a huge heart. These are just some of her beautiful attributes that made creating this page very difficult. 
The funds will be used to ensure that all or most of the burial costs are covered. We ask that you give only what your heart moves you to give. We have a tremendous amount of gratitude and feel blessed to have received so many requests and offers to help during such a difficult time. May God bless you all.
