Cinema Femme Film Fest: Support our start up costs

Dear friends and supporters of Cinema Femme:

Our short film fest is coming up April 25 - May 2nd at Chicago's Music Box Theatre, and we will have filmmaker events throughout the festival, including panels and Q&As. As you know, the crucial strikes from last year have made it difficult to raise funds for this year's festival. I have pivoted by reaching out to businesses owned by women and non-binary people in Chicago, and we have a great line-up for our silent auction held at the festival's closing night party. My favorite film of 2023, Anna Hints' "Smoke Sauna Sisterhood," will have its Chicago premiere as part of our festival.

I'm confident that we are going to raise a lot of money through tickets and our fundraising event this year, but it's been difficult to raise funds for start-up costs since our sponsors had to drop out this year. I'd like to raise $5K before the festival so I can book the small theater and our event space. Every little bit counts, so please consider donating.
