On Saturday, May 15th, 2021, men dressed in black with ski masks cut a hole in the fence surrounding the perimeter of Hog Wild BBQ Company, located at 1291 Tully Street, Memphis, TN. After looking for items of value worth stealing in the back of the  property, and Hog Wild Delivery Vans, thieves decided to push my mom's car through the hole they cut in the fence, load it onto a flatbed trailer and steal it.

Eight years ago, my mom moved from Massillon, Ohio, to Memphis, Tennessee, to accept a job offer from Ernie Mellor, owner of Hog Wild BBQ Company. Since day 1, Hog Wild has been her passion, her drive, what she cares about the most, and is completely fanatical about. She loves her job; who she works for, works with, and the customers she serves.

I have never seen anyone, especially at her age--73 years old--work as hard as she does and work as many hours as she does. Her car was all she had to get to and from work, AND her car enabled her to make deliveries. Without a car, things are going to be extremely difficult for her to do.

I have established this GoFundMe to offset the exuberant amount of negative equity that's going to be owed to the finance company, replace personal items that were in the trunk of her car in a suitcase, and help with a down payment of a new car.
