NASH (Non-Alcoholic Steato Hepatitis) has finally taken its toll on my liver and it is time for a transplant. I will be traveling in early June (Note the change in dates) for a four-day visit to Duke University Medical School to meet my transplant team and undergo testing for evaluation as a transplant candidate.

This will be the first of several trips for evaluation and placement on the transplant list at one of the top centers in the nation.
