Help with my Son Jaxon.

Hi my name is Naequan, My five year old son Jaxon was brought to Buffalo Children’s (Oishei) after being found unconscious at his Moms house while in the care of his Moms boyfriend on 12/11/2022. When I got the call that My Son was hospitalized and gonna have surgery I was scared. The doctor said they didn’t know if Jaxon would survive and they didn’t understand how it happened but that my Son’s colon was pushed up to his stomach and that caused him to become septic and his organs were slowly failing to work. They had to do four surgeries on my Son, now Jaxon has a scar on his tummy from under his rib cage to his pelvis, at one point his abdomen was so swollen between surgeries the wound had remain open for almost a week and left open for them to treat my Son. Jaxon was kept in a medically induced coma and fed with a feeding tube for almost two months. When things didn’t seem like it could get worse I was called by a CPS worker that suspected Jaxon had been abused and they were filing a case of negligence on my Son Mom and abuse against her boyfriend for what happened to my son. Since then I have filed for custody of my Son and thank God I got custody and Jaxon has survived and is healing day by day and was finally discharged on 2/15/2023. I am so thankful, I can’t stop thinking that my Son almost didn’t make it and that he could have died. I believe It’s a miracle I know it’s going to be awhile before my Son is able to fully recover and I am scared to let Jaxon go with anyone right now, I have been with Jaxon at the hospital for months and have only been able to work a few hours a week and now I need to take off work for a few months to take care of Jaxon, right now my finances are dried up and I don’t even have clothes for Jaxon, my car was repossessed because I couldn’t pay my car note and I have to take my Son to his appointments 2 hours away from where I live. Also my daughter Marley, Jaxon Sister was also removed from their Mom’s home by CPS to her Aunts house and my Daughter wants to come live with me as well, so I am trying to get things together to file for custody of my Daughter too and I will need to get a two bedroom apartment and be able to support them both. I don’t like asking for help but I am just humbled at this time and have no choice but to ask for any donations you may find in your heart to give to help us.
