Help with my mums holistic cancer treatment

As many of you know my beautiful mum was diagnosed with secondary cancer of the lungs in September last year. Since then she has continued to be an amazing mum, friend and sister and I couldn't be more proud of how she has handled such devastating news. Despite the doctors 'closing the door' and not offering any traditional treatment she has taken her health into her own hands and is only filling her body with healthy organic foods, all of the vitamins under the sun, and other natural herbs which are helping to fight the cancer, the symptoms and keep her in good spirits. We are all confident that if she keeps this up the cancer will at the very least be stopped in its tracks. All of the research into alternative treatments proves that tackling illness this way has life saving effects. Unfortunately this treatment isn't provided by a health care service and is being paid for by my mum. To help with the ongoing costs of this treatment Emma and I are going to run the Christchurch half marathon (June 2nd) and are asking all of you lovely people out there to sponsor us. All of the donations will go straight to my mum who will use the money to pay for her next round of alternative treatment.
