Hi friends and family.

As some of you already know, my mom passed away almost a month ago. Through months of hospitals and her enormous Rosie the Riveter strength, she smiled, flirted and laughed with the nurses and doctors, and got to feel the love of family and friends who sat by her side hours on end. She fought longer than they thought she would, but time caught up.

She passed after a long journey home with family by her side. My grandma got to say goodbye to her daughter for the last time, my cousin made sure her last days were comfortable and bright.

Unfortunately my mom left little instructions behind or a way to fund her last wishes. I’ve been trying to find a way to get the funds as soon as possible but I’ve had little success. No one could have prepared me for the cost of putting your loved ones to rest. This is why I come to you all. I consider myself a proud person and find it difficult asking for help. But my mom means more to me than my pride. I wish nothing but to be able to bring my mom peace and to her final resting place, she deserves that and more. Anything helps, everything that gets donated will go directly to her services. I appreciate anything that is donated in my beautiful mom’s memory. She cannot and will not be forgotten.
