I did not expect to lose my mom this soon, and I definitely was not prepared. I am asking for help to cover my mom’s cremation and a celebration of life. Losing my mom has been incredibly hard, and being the one who had to make the final decision to let her go is something I will carry with me forever. She was my mom, I loved her dearly, and she mattered.

Years ago, my mom suffered a brain aneurysm and almost died. She was treated by one of the top brain surgeons in the world at that time and made a full recovery. My mom was stubborn as hell, and she cared about her kids more than anything else on this planet. I truly believe that is why she fought through it and kept going as long as she did. Sadly, that same blood vessel ruptured again, and this time she did not make it.

This fundraiser is not for my mom, because she is no longer here. This is for the people still here who are left carrying the pain of losing her. My mom would not have wanted a single dime spent on her. Her exact words were, “I don’t give a shit. I’m not going to be there. Just live happy and try to enjoy life.” I am only asking for help with her cremation and a small celebration of life so the people who loved her can gather and find some peace.
