Funeral for Duane's Loving Mother

Hi, my name is Duane Murdock and I am fundraising for my mother Shirley Tyler. She unexpectedly passed on September 2, 2021. My mother Shirley meant the world to me. She was all I had. As most of you know, I am a hard headed son of a gun but what you may not have known was that I am very much a momma's boy. We have (had) an unbroken connection. When we spoke, we found joy in each other's laughter. My momma knew me well and could always tell when I had something on my mind. She would dig it out like digging out a tick because she did not want me to carry around any burdens. I loved that about her. Even though, I spent a lot of time on the road, we were close and her unexpected passing has severed a part of me.

This fundraiser is not something I want to do, but something I have to do. Due to the unexpected passing of my loving mother, I am asking family and friends to help me by contributing to her funeral cost. I need to raise $3000. This portion is half of the cost for my mother's funeral. My brother is gathering the other half through means of his own. The funeral home needs ($1500) from me by September 11, 2021 and the other half ($1500) is needed by September 25, 2021 . I am thankful for the funeral home for working with me and my family to accommodate our mother in such short notice.
