Help with my husband who's a veteran.

Hi my name is Amber, I have been caring for my husband who was very ill. while he was in my care at home, he basically spent about a month and a half in the care at the hospital ,ICU and he was also in hospice care. Away from our babies and myself included. My husband Eleazahar, had severe health issues. I'm heart broken that he may not ,be able to get a proper Veterans burial, because they said he didn't qualify. I don't understand, cause he served 18 yrs,and has an honorable discharge. He just passed away on Saturday December 18, and while preparing to plan out his funeral, I was told that he wont be able to be buried at the Veterans Cemetery. We have 4 children together, and am heart broken because I'm not able to afford the funeral cost. While Christmas is around the corner, things wont be the same cause he's not here to Celebrate with us.

HE had a whole slew of health issues,like COPD,liver failiure, kidney issues pneumonia and much more. Its just so hard to fathom everything he was struggling with. In the end I cared for him and made sure he was well cared for and that spending the last few days with him was all that mattered.
