Hi my name is Jonathan Delgado! I am seeking help from my friends any friends friends to help my mother and my family get through this very hard time dealing with the passing of my AMAZING, LOVING,CARING, FUNNY,and just plain all around fun awesome father of mine Alan David Moorehead! He met my mother in 1989 when she had taken my 2 brothers and I away from a bad situation with my biological father and moved us to Florida. She was working night shifts at the Day's Inn in Fort Walton Beach, Florida when she met a young construction worker he only a few years later would come to be her husband and my father! He accepted her with the 3 kids she had and showed us what it was like to be in a good family again. Him and my mother busted their backs to make ends meet while steadily moving us back up to better situations. We moved from all us kids and my mother living in a small spare room with my my aunt to us all moving in with him to an apartment. A couple years later after alot of hard work, my parents moved us 5 out of a cramped 2 bedroom apartment to a 3 bedroom house in Green acres. He was always driving us on road trips out of town and took us to quite a few places in the South and on the East coast. He took my oldest brother Jose to Marine Corps Boot camp as well as bringing us to his graduation. He took my brother Jason to start college at Florida State University as well as was there for his graduation. He was there to take me to MEPS to get ready to get on that bus to head to Parris Island and to have another son go to Marine Corps Boot camp. He was there for our marriages and the birth of his grandchildren. He was there for me when he picked me up when I got back from deploying to Operations Iraqi Freedom and Enduring Freedom! He was there for me to help me with my 2 babies Angelina and Jonathan when I needed him. He had amassed a family of 9 grandchildren coming from 3 sons. All while never having any biological children of his own,but still,he was our father and a grandfather to all 9 of the grandkids. They called him " Grandpa Al"! I called him Pop and he was truly my father because he raised me when my biological father didn't! This was the kind of good-hearted, amazing, loving man that we were blessed to have in our lives for 33 years. My parents always had to work extremely hard for all the things they gave us. Now my mother is beside herself wondering how she's going to take care of everything with her partner being gone. He was the main bread winner in the household and with him gone she needs all the help she can get! They are amazing people that some of you had got to meet and I know they always greeted you with open arms and welcomed you into our home! So if you can please help my mother with any donation you can spare she would be greatly appreciative of the blessings you can bestow upon her! Pray for our family please, especially my mother and God bless all of you!!!
