Hi, my name is Lorena Levi. I am a 28 year old working artist and have lived in London since I was 3. About a year ago I was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer. I received two rounds of chemotherapy in 2025 at UCLH Macmillan Cancer Centre. The treatment has stemmed the progression of cancer but the side effects have taken a heavy toll on my body. At this point, my body is too weak to continue with chemotherapy. I also happen to have Cystic Fibrosis which rules me out of most new drug trials.
Hallwang Clinic is a specialised private oncology hospital in Germany. They offer "advanced therapies with an off-label approach thanks to liberal medical freedom in Germany." After having a few meetings with them, they offered me a personalised treatment plan which is innovative and promising but also very expensive. Yet, I would very much like to pursue this treatment option.
I have some funds available to me but not enough to cover the full treatment cost. I am asking for your help to bridge the gap. Any amount, big or small will be hugely appreciated.
Thank you for reading.
Lorena
