I got chewy at 9 weeks old when I was 9 years old. I named him chewy because he was chewing on my fingers. I nicknamed him boo boo because his chewing would leave boo-boo's. Boo boo has been with me through so much. I am now turning 25 and he is turning 16 yet I still feel like that 9 year old girl who would have one on one concerts and fashion show's with my boo in the comfort of our bedroom. He has a huge spirit, I can't put into words how much I love this little man he is my best friend.

In this past year he had a really bad experience with gingivitis his back teeth started to actually crumble within his gums and it caused a serious infection. The first dental we did was in hopes to stop that infection and clear the gingivitis at that time they didn't know the extent of the teeth. they removed one which was obviously dead on his x-ray and after removing that front fang he proceeded to get another infection he was put on a bunch of different antibiotics with so much pain he was loosing weight fast on top of that the infection in that fang and the inflammation/damage from the extracted fang caused him to have constant consistent bloody noses in that nostril. after they realized the antibiotics were not stopping the infection, the vet recommended removing all the teeth that they could. he was left with the tiny baby teeth in the front and three fangs. his teeth were practically dust, sadly because of that he was under for hours way longer than he ever should have been and we knew it was a risk. he showed no signs of issues and even started getting better playing even gained weight....then out of nowhere in January he started to have seizures. We've had so many vet visits since then to try to figure out what the cause of these seizures are outside of a head CT which would be thousands of dollars outright and a 2-hour drive out of town which could stress him enough he could go into failure. At this time nothing has stopped the seizures from coming on or prevent them from happening. he has breaks where no seizures happen for days weeks and even a month but those breaks have gotten shorter and shorter. The only thing his blood has told us is he has a thyroid issue which he's on medication for. In his last break which was 3 weeks he was able to gain a pound which for cats is a lot better before then he got as small as 5 lb and he is regularly a 10 lb cat when we got him back to six and that felt like a huge accomplishment we thought we could see some type of rainbow through this storm but...now he is not wanting to eat. he is yelling because he's hungry but all the food I offer him he doesn't want to eat or he eats very little and it's not enough. he's drinking plenty of water but just not eating enough. I never thought I would be asking for some type of help but we are thousands in debt what we put for the go fund me is the exact amount needed to pay off the debt he has more visits coming up but I am excluding them we just need help catching up. Care credit has been an absolute savior for us with being able to put them on payment options so he can get help without being directly affected by interest rates. but that doesn't change the fact that it has to be paid and slowly but surely those payments are getting bigger and bigger and more unachievable by every vet visit. On top of it all I am having my own medical issues and need surgery but I have been pushing off my own medical needs to help him....
