Help with Mike's Long Road to Recovery

Hello, my name is Samantha, I am Mike's brother John's stepdaughter and John has asked me to create this GoFundMe on behalf of his brother Mike Spataro. Mike is a diabetic and had some complications with blood clots in both of his legs which required surgery to remove the clots. After each surgery, the blood clots would return, so far he has had 5 surgeries to remove the clots. During this time, they discovered that he has a C Protein deficiency, which they are now treating him for. Unfortunately, the clots were too severe in Mike's right leg, which resulted in an amputation of his right leg, and his left leg is currently still trying to recover. This has been a sudden, unexpected, life-altering experience for Mike. His family is kindly asking for donations to help Mike with his medical expenses, as this is going to be a very challenging recovery, and anything is appreciated.
