Help William With Medical and Other Expenses.

Hello, I am Emily and Williams youngest child. As many of you are already aware my parents were involved in a freak accident which resulted in my dad (William) having multiple fractures and a week long stay at the hospital. He was transported from Salem Hospital to OHSU. A few of those days were spent in the ICU, and the rest of the time he was in their trauma unit. While he was at OHSU he underwent facial surgery where he had plates put in his jaw and around his eye socket. My dad was discharged on Sunday, December 11th, and is healing at home with the help of my mom, our family, and friends. While we don’t know how much their expenses are at this time, we can safely assume they will have out of pocket medical expenses, because insurance will not cover everything. Additionally, my dad will be out of work for several months, and my mom is working less hours so she can care for my dad. My dad is applying for short term disability, but that will only be a percentage of his normal pay. So on top of upcoming medical bills, they also have their day to day expenses they will likely need help with. We know that this is a financially difficult time for most, but really anything will help. We appreciate you all, and all your love and support has not gone unnoticed.
