Help with medical expenses for Jenni Conrady

Donation protected
Hello, my name is Toni and my sister in law Jenni is a missionary in Honduras currently and on 1/13/22 had a medical emergency and required her to be med-flighted back to the US. They are currently at a hospital in Ft Lauderdale, FL. Jenni is in an emergency room at this time due to no beds being open currently because of COVID. She says the hospital and everyone she has came into contact with during this journey have been so helpful and are doing everything they can. At this time they are waiting on a room and a plan with the urologist to see what the next steps are for repairing/ saving the kidney. People have asked what they can do to help and all donations will go directly to the Conrady family for medical bills and expenses during this time. We ask for continued prayers.

Original from Jenni’s Facebook: Yesterday day at 7:30 am I came to the hospital for extreme stomach pain. It took 3 hours to keep the pain under control— there are no words for what that time looked like. During that time, I had an ultrasound and two CTs. It was during the second CT a large group of doctores gathered behind a screen, staring intensely at the pictures. An hour later we received the news… it wasn’t kidney Stoney’s or pancreatitis like we thought. No, somehow in some unusual way the tube that connects my kidney and bladder on my left side exploded and left everything dripping into my body

Last night we tried to get an emergency flight back to the US because there is a real possible reason I could loose my kidney. We could not get a flight in a timely manner. And the doctors after much deliberation booked me into the OR. Something happened during the procedure where they could only manage to get a cather inside of me to my kidney to keep the poison from going in my body. When I came to with Kelly by my side they had already started worked on an emergency flight to florida.

I need prayer… I need healing and that god surrounds our precious kids as Kelly and I are here at the hospitals and they are home with friends. It’s been a nightmare trying to get the medflight so that is a priority prayer. They are trying to get me to Fort Lauderdale. And pray that pain remains manageable now

I really do give praise… God has been so sweet to me surrounding me with friends, family and incredible leadership both here in Honduras and the United States. I have be saturated with a peace that can only come from God, and my mind has been sharp through in-spite of all the meds. We will keep people posted using social media.

Updated: I am waiting to be admitted from the ER to the hospital.  Currently there are no beds— so we are just waiting.  After I am admitted we will meet the urologist and get a plan.  Kelly has a hotel room and a local church has loaned him a van to be able to drive to the hospital.

The pain is being managed and there are no words for the volume of support we have beenamd  continue to to receive .  God is as much into the big details as he is thr small ones.  Someday we will charge thr million little miracles.

Continue to pray for pain management, that wisdom of the doctors.  Kelly is exhausted, so pray that God gives him time to rest.  And a bed.  We love you all and although we haven’t responded to every comment we have read them all.  We are so thankful for the army that surrounds us
