Help with medical expenses for Jeff Foster
Donation protected
If you know Jeff Foster (or any of the Fosters), you know they love boldly and will be there for you. Beginning in mid January, Jeff began to have shortness of breath and he was listless and had trouble sleeping. Jeff has always been a go getter and a hard worker. This was totally out of character for him. They went to Bruce Bailey, who eventually sent him to a cardiologist. At that appointment he had a heart beat of 180, and he was sent to the ER. After a number of tests, he was diagnosed with heart failure. His right artery was totally blocked, he had about 30% on his left artery and within days he had a quadruple bypass. He has been put on the Impella 55 to allow his heart to heal. As of today, Monday - February 27th, they are starting to wean him off the pump and waiting to see if his heart can take over again. Within the next day or two, if his heart does not begin to beat on its own, they will need to put him on the LVAD pump. He currently is not a candidate for a heart transplant, but that has not been totally ruled out. The bottom line is Jeff can no longer work and this family is facing astronomical medical bills, and we are asking for all those who love the Fosters to please help shoulder some of this burden if you feel so led. Please consider donating any amount to help them as they deal with the financial burdens on top of everything else they are going through. If you are unable to donate, please keep them in your prayers and pray that they continue to see God work through the doctors and strengthen his heart. All of the Fosters are grateful for your donations and prayers. They all ask that you continue to pray for his heart. "The is what the Lord, the God of your father David, says: 'I have heard your prayer and seen your tears; I will heal you.'" - 2 Kings 20:5
