Help with Medical Expenses for Glen Goto

Hi, my name is Kasey Connor, and I am setting up this fundraiser on behalf of my brother-in-law, Glen Goto. Glen was diagnosed with chronic kidney disease in 2019. While waiting to begin dialysis, he learned that he needed quadruple bypass surgery in the fall of 2020. He became "active" on the transplant list in December of 2021. After a lengthy wait, Glen finally received a kidney last Wednesday, August 3. Unfortunately, the transplant brought on a heart attack which required the placement of a stent and caused pulmonary issues. Ultimately, the kidney had to be removed, and he was placed back on dialysis. Glen remains in critical condition as he fights to get off the ventilator and his team works to find the source of a bleed in his pulmonary region. Anyone who has a serious medical condition or knows someone who does is well aware of how quickly medical expenses pile up. Glen's road to recovery will be a long one and will require him to be off work for a minimum of 8 weeks, making the ability to pay bills even more challenging.

Asking for financial assistance does not come easy for my brother-in-law or sister Kerry. Unfortunately, a continuous series of medical events dating back to 2019 has placed them in a position where they need the help of their friends, family, and the community.
