My sister, her husband and her 5 grandchildren that she is raising are having financial struggles and could sincerely use your help with getting them by for the next several months. The start of this was caused by complications of what they thought was a sinus infection that changed their world. Which has led them to find out there is a fungus that he is now being treated for on his brain. On June 18th he had a stroke that rendered him paralyzed on the left side of his body and at which time they also found out he has severe diabetes. On July 2nd A Decompression Craniectomy was done to release pressure on the brain. He has been transferred to St Pete so now she has to travel even further to see him. They live in Port Charlotte. They have been raising their 5 grandchildren for the past 2 1/2 years. He was at Sarasota Memorial for 2 months and 2 days then they transferred him to a rehab hospital that cares for patients for all of his needs. My sister hasn't worked for the past two years as she has been homeschooling the kids. Since this has happened, she has put 4 of the children back in public school and is only homeschooling one so she can go and help tend to her husband. Our goal is $20,000.00. We are asking that if anyone can help in this crucial time for them, it would be greatly appreciated.
