Hello my name is Leah Rojas around Feb 20th my son isaac 15yrs old woke up blind out of his left eye after 6 facilities and 20 diffrent providers he's has what UCSF calls a undiagnosable disease of the nervous system falling under optic neuritis as of the 3rd of this month the eye is as good as its going to get he's still blind and they still don't know why today will be his last day of meds (due to risk of bone health) and now we are just waiting to see if it starts to grow again which makes our visits to UCSF averaging about 1 to 2 appointments a week the bills are adding up even w assistance from UCSF plus gas and parking , his special diet, Hotel stays etc. Dr said as of now the eye is at its best and now it's time to work on the neurological side we meet with them Tuesday she said now the real work starts and it's going to be alot of tests and alot of appointments I would never ask for help we didn't need anything would help thank you for taking the time to read this.
