My puppies and I were in a bike accident

My dogs and I were recently in a bike accident. We love to get exercise and go on a bike ride. . On Christmas Eve we were trotting along as usual until Lola took a hard left after seeing a squirrel she wanted to chase. Turns out that wasn’t Lola’s best idea ever. The bike went flying ( as did I) and the left side of my face landed on a large boulder in a neighbors yard. When I was conscience and able to stand up and was in tremendous pain. Luckily the dogs were not injured. I grabbed both leashes , left the bike behind and slowly made my way home, 7 Blocks away, sh, in pain and embarrassingly enough , in tears. I have four fractures in my left jaw and a few more breaks under my eye socket. Went to hcmc trauma department for surgery. Friends friends went back later to retrieve the bike, only to find it was gone. I have had surgery and might need more depending on how the heeling goes. My jaw is wired shut and I'm on a liquid diet for 6 weeks. Thanks for taking the time to read this! Xoxo
